Treating Morton's Neuroma

Burning pain in the ball of your foot, tingling between your toes, or the feeling that you have a pebble inside your shoe can all be signs of Morton's neuroma. Morton's neuroma, also known as an intermetatarsal neuroma, is a painful condition involving a nerve in the forefoot. It most commonly affects the area between the third and fourth toes. Despite its name, it is not a true tumor. Repeated pressure and irritation can cause thickening of the tissue surrounding the nerve.
